The story

The world tour you never have time for.

Every golfer knows the feeling: the same eighteen holes, every weekend, while the courses you dream about sit on the other side of the world.

Fairway Empire starts there. You draw your holes the way you want them, you move the bunker that has annoyed you for ten years, you widen a green that plays too hard. Then you go elsewhere: windswept links, ocean cliffs, desert, mountains, bush — ten landscape styles across every continent.

Then there is the business to run. Green fees decide the crowds, upkeep decides the rating, and the rating decides what you may build next. You climb from Bogey to Albatross one decision at a time.

Fairway Empire

Design your course

Up to 18 holes, par 3, 4 and 5, with bunkers, lakes, trees and decor placed wherever you like.

Fourteen buildings

Clubhouse, driving range, pro shop, hotel, grandstands, media centre: each upgrades to level 5.

The director's job

Prices, members, staff, equipment, upkeep. Every decision shows up in the rating and reputation.

Seasons and hazards

Droughts, storms and wild boars turn up unannounced. A neglected course pays for it quickly.

33 estates

From Bogey to Albatross, then the Grand Trophy. The most prestigious cost more and earn more.

Managers

Train them, hand one an estate: it keeps running while you develop the next.
